Hello,

Just want to say these flames are great. Easy to apply (my teenage daughters and I) put them on. We got a little creative on the hood, which seems to attract even more attention. We drove form Toronto to Los Angeles and back and had more looks and comments all the way. A lot say nice paint job.

So thank you once again.

I keep watching for the next new flame design. Your Number # 1.

To my Good Friends at Fast Flames,

Greetings!

Just thought I'd drop you guys a line and thank you for the great flames and Eagle decals. They went on over the base coat great, and then we clear-coated right over the top of them, thus minimizing the leading edges which create aerodynamic drag (really!!) on my son's soap box derby racer. The car looked awesome, and performed awesome as well, winning the 67th running of the Indianapolis Soap Box Derby.

The car will be in Akron week of July 23 thru Aug. 1, and may be captured by ESPN who is purportedly going to be there getting footage for an upcoming program.

I've attached some photos if you would like to see what your decals look like on this gravity racer.

Thanks again guys!!

Hello again:

I was looking at your site to get some flames for my nephew's new (to him) Grand Prix and was astonished to see my Buick Rendezvous on the ordering page. I knew it was on the Gallery page, but was impressed to see it in a place of much greater importance. We had an experience a couple weeks ago when we were stopped at a light. A boy of about 10 went running into his back yard calling for his siblings to "Hurry-hurry--you've got to see this". I started looking around, wondering what the kid could possibly be so excited about. When his brothers got there, he started pointing at us (and our flames) and we got the greatest compliment. "whoa--sweeet!". We've had the flames (first on our Chevy Tracker and now on the Rendezvous) for at least 3 years now. Except for a couple cracks where the fine lines connect to the main flame (due to our carelessness while pulling them off to go through the car wash) they're in perfect shape. I don't think they're even faded at all--and they've made it through our often cold and snowy Michigan winters.

Thanks so much for a great product!

Dear Sirs
I bought my first set of magnetic flames for my 98 Mazda pickup several years ago. I loved them and got many favorable comments. I regularly switched them between my three cars and they looked great on all. When my truck was totaled I switched the flames to my new truck (see pic) and then to my new Miata. Everyone loved the way they looked on my Miata so...bigger is better. My Miata sports a set of vinyl flames and the magnetic are back on my truck. My nephew is now riding about with the eagle flames on his Jeep. We love your products.

Keep up the good work,
Dennis O'Donnell

Dudes,

I've got to update you on "your flames/my car." It's amazing the reaction they are causing. Sure mini owners in culturally devoid regions of the country receive a lot of gawks "What tha hail is that thang, Martha?" I originally put tint on my windows because I was embarrassed seeing people pointing when they pulled up next to me -- I'm talking about a stock mini. I could see kids and adults mouthing "look at the car" -- noses pressed against windows at traffic lights. But the tint is gone and I'm lovin' the new attention. Everything has changed since I found the "Flame Gods" (you dudes). People are waving at me as I drive down the street now. And even giving me thumbs up everywhere I go. It blows my mind how people react to the combination of this car and your flames. Many people have asked if they are painted on -- which attests to their high quality and awesome design. I can't explain the feeling of being a mid-40s dude -- driving along with the windows and top open -- oldies [square] playing on the radio (Stones, Paint it Black CRANKED on my Harman Kardan sound system) -- and having a LINE of tricked out cars with "kids" heading out the Pike for their nightly driving rituals -- slowing down as they pass me -- and flip me a thumbs up. Totally Cool feeling -- it was better than sex. But at my age and 20+ years of marriage golf is better than sex. So I'll rephrase that .... better than sex with a super model ... and it's MINE!

This car brought a smile to my face the instant I drove it. Now that feeling has been modified exponentially. Here's the latest incarnation of the car. A few more graphics. Trying to fly under State Trooper's radar with window flames that are "half-height" and are cutout around the mirrors. We'll see if it works. It's a $100 fine in Ohio because law is 50% tint, but these are 35%. AND I drew them standing in front of your flames trying to add the flavor of motion from your work.

What more can I say? Thanks for going thru the decision process and taking the gamble to bring your art to the masses. I wish you all much success.

Many thanks,
Brady

Dudes
I live in the armpit of the country ... if OHIO is the heart of it all, I'm located in the armpit, where Ohio, KY, WV come together and create a cultural black hole. I've been trying to motivate myself to purchase an airbrush so I could put flames on my cars. I'm not real excited about the solid vinyl flame patterns. Since I was a kid in HS in the mid-70s I have dreamed of having a car with flames. Had I not stumbled across your site I would have bought those standard solid flame patterns and overlapped colors ..... but man I got your flames and they are the coolest thing for 200 miles. I will say it was a bitch separating the carrier layer from the vinyl .... but I only had 2 small rips. It's not as cool as a full front end flame-job, but it's the next best thing.

You can't see it but that's Tazz sticking his tongue out -- on the back windows. Colors match the flames (oranges and reds) Now all I need are some short wide flames for the hood & top. I was going to do a flag roof graphic, but am working the flame concept in my head ..... I'm an artist so I gotta see it in my head first.

Anyway.
Awesome .... the product.
Awesome ..... the price.
Awesome ..... the feeling driving it now. ....

Of course the only problem with your flames ..... my Mini is only 186 hp 6-speed. ... Now I gotta spend $3,000+ to boost the performance to where it can back up it's cool looks. First purchase is going to be new pipes for a deep throaty purrrrrrrrrrrr.

My 16 yr old Twin boys are regulated to a 1990 camry -- it's so uncool dad -- but I may use some of your other products to try and give them a little more PRIDE-IN-THEIR-RIDE ..... Cowabunga, gentlemen. ..... Brain Flash ..... maybe your teardrop flames would be cool on some of the spokes of my wheels. Huuum.

Greetings from Baldwin City!

Just wanted to let you know how much I'm enjoying our multiple sets of "fast flames!" Our Mustangs were once again in several St. Pats parades in Kansas City this year, and my Moonlight Blue '96 GT always turns heads with her set of patriotic flames. We also have the orange set of smaller flames, and the bright blue flames (which look great on our White '90 LX Mustang covertible!). I'm enclosing a photo for your gallery of my daughter and me before the local town's parade last fall. I have referred quite a few people to your website during my carshow travels. Several folks in our carclub have already purchased their own sets of flames. And yes, the flames ride very well at the dragstrip, we race our cars every year, and we can attest to their "stickability." Of course, I was caught "streetracing" at 110 mph, but my car looked great! We will be travelling in a caravan of Mustangs to Nashville this spring to celebrate 40 years of Mustangs. And of course, my compliment of flames will be travelling with me. So look for the Moonlight Blue '96 GT on "Good Morning America" and "CBS Early Show" on April 15 - we'll be sporting the patriotic flames that day, and also on Saturday when we race at the Nashville Superspeedway. (We'll send some pics!)

Thanks again for a fun and American product!

Hello Gentlemen!

A number of years ago I found out about your magnetic decals and ordered mys
elf two sets (the Fast Flames and the California Flames). Much to the irritation of my teen age son, I put them on my gold Toyota Previa van. Yes, the same son who dyed his hair blue had a big problem with his mother driving around in a van with flames!! Needless to say, everyone else loved them, even his buddies. When it came time to trade in the van for a new car, the dealers loved the flames and one even said he wouldn't take the van as a trade without the flames. Huh! As if I'd give anyone my flames! Well, I now have a gold Infiniti FX35, and the afternoon I picked up my new car I immediately transferred the decals from the old to the new. I have to say that even though it was a lot of fun to drive a van around with flames, those flames look like they were made for my FX!! The car itself is a head-turner, and the flames are such a "come-on"!! Out on the highway, I get tons of attention, from kids, guys in their muscle cars and ladies in their sedans. I have talked to so many strangers about my car and the flames I can't even count, at this point. Thank you so much for making my days filled with errands and carpooling one great big grin!

Ray McClendon, Ohio

Premier Years member Ray McClendon, 62, of Macedonia, loves the orange-and-red-magnetic flames that he put on the fenders of his 1948 black Oldsmobile torpedoback. The location and look had to be just right, because McClendon is a perfectionist when it comes to classic cars. "A car makes a statement about a person. It's a form of self-expression and very personal," said McClendon, who has lived in the Nordonia Hills area all his life.

A self-proclaimed "hot rodder" or "gearhead" since his youth, McClendon's first car was a 1941 Ford two-door sedan. Since then he has had "50 or 60 cars" on which he has lovingly and painstakingly done much of any "required" restoration or custom work himself. When the car is "almost perfect, and you've done all you want with it, it's usually time to sell the vehicle," he said. McClendon is an interior designer who travels throughout the state, and his flair for color and style is apparent in his work on his vehicles. In addition to the classic Olds, he currently owns a 1961 Chevy Impala convertible with a big-block engine and a lowered 1983 customized Chevy El Camino with an IROC front and a Corvette rear. One of the best ways to show off a classic car is to attend the popular car cruises that are held in many shopping center and restaurant parking lots in Northeast Ohio during the warmer months. People of all ages attend to swap car stories and admire each other's vehicles. "Cruises are better than car shows.

There are often more cars, and it's free - a cheap date," said McClendon, who has been married to his wife, Carol, for 37 years. "Everyone goes to a cruise just to have fun, even people without cars who just want to look." McClendon's dream car is a 1948 Mercury convertible, a special vehicle he is keeping his eyes open for, saying he will know when he sees "the right one." In the meantime, he is busy in his well-organized garage tinkering on cars he already owns. "You're never really done with a car," said McClendon.

Dear Sir:

I recently received your discount special containing the combination of two types of flames plus the teardrops and I couldn't be more pleased. They look great on my 1998 Pontiac TransAm and the car now turns heads everywhere I go. They look so perfect that most people think they were painted on the car. I have given out your web site address to a few friends who are also planning to purchase some flames of their own. Thank you for making a great product at an affordable price. I have enclosed a few pictures of my car and hope you can use them on your site.

Sincerely,

Randal C. Rhodes

Dear Flame People,

Got my flames yesterday and I love them! I took them with me to the car wash today, and got the car washed and had the kids help me put them on . The car wash kid really got a kick out of helping. I have a silver Chrysler PT Cruiser and they really look great. Tomorrow is my birthday, so I will be the only 57-year -old styling in a flame-enhanced cruiser in the area.

To whom it May Concern:
I live in Turlock, California and have been seeing a new Dodge Durango driving all over town with your flames on their truck. I liked them so much, I chased the owner down and asked where he had gotten them. He gave me your phone number and web address. I am working on a 57 Chevy Bel-Air that I was going to have flames painted on, since I saw yours I have decided to go with the ability to remove the flames. I just sent the car to the paint shop and I should have it back in a month of so. I will purchase some flames when I find out how much body filler is used on the fenders. Just wanted to let you know how good they look.

MAG-nificent Impressions,
Received the sample order we placed for a set of Fast Flames and were definitely impressed with how they looked, especially on our three cars we take to Rod Runs across the state.
Our '64 El Camino is vermillion red clearcoat, our '67 Dodge Dart GT is dark metallic blue and our '86 Mustang GT is pearl blue. The Fast Flames looked great on all three cars.
We spent several hours of shifting them around on each car trying to determine how many sets it would take to complete each car like we'd like to show them at shows.
We've already ordered five sets of Fast Flames and four sets of California Flames which we think will complete the look we're after on the '64 El Camino. We'll them shift them around on the other two cars to see how many sets we need.
Art Himsl did a fantastic job and MAG-nificent Impressions just as good a job making these flames readily available in a simple, easy to apply form. We love the fact that they can be re-arranged and moved from one vehicle to another at a price many rodders can afford. A car's paint scheme, along with wheels and tires are the first thing that get attention from a crowd anywhere you go. Our '64 El Camino is already a show stopper and we have garnered over thirty awards at various shows in Texas this season alone. Several Best Overall, Best Engine , and People's Choice.
We have found over the years that upgrades and changes are necessary every show season in order to keep a car competitive and to keep the public interested.
Just the simple addition of Fast Flames and California Flames we believe will give us the edge we'll need for the upcoming 2000 season. Once we've received all sets and are happy with the placement we'll have a photo shoot and send you some for your website or advertisement or just simply enjoy and show off your awesome flames.
Thanks for a great product. We can't wait until next show season when we know we'll hear, "Where did you get those awesome flames?" Respectfully yours,

Bill Hunter/Batten

Dear Mr. Hanley,

I'm sorry it has taken me so long to get you this "thank you" letter. Last year I ordered a flame set from MAG-nificent Impressions. There were some problems with a back order delay and you kept me informed by mail correspondence. When they finally arrived they were perfect. They looked so good that I had to send you a picture of what I put them on. The mower now has chrome hubcaps on it and looks really good. The flames are easy to remove for cleaning. I hope you dont think I'm silly for putting them on a riding mower. I do get lots of "thumbs up" while cutting my lawn. It's fun.

Hi Mike..

Here are 6 photos (approx. 800X600 pixels) which include your flames, teardrops, and European side scoops. I love these things. I have gotten so many comments on them. People, when they see them, think that they are actually painted on. A few people thought the Side Scoops came stock with the PT Cruiser. I went to work with the scoops, the flames and the teardrops on for a whole week. The next week, i took them off and I had two people come up to me and say.."Marc, did you see the other Cruiser in the parking lot? These don't have the flames as you do". After telling them that it was actually my PT Cruiser (without the flames) they were stunned. "Where can I get some" they asked. I like these flames because you can be driving a hot rod one day, then remove the flames and go to church the next day...

Thanks Mike. They are great...

Regards,
Marc

Subject: installed tribal flames decals

Hi,

We finally got the tribal flame decals installed on our bus. I thought that I would send this e-mail to you with a picture of how they turned out. Everything went well during the installation process. It had been raining here for several days, so we had to wait until we finally got the chance to get them on. I will send some pictures to you of the entire bus - before and after - that way you will get a better idea of what we have done. We will probably order a set of the eagle flames to put on the front of the painted part of the side of the bus, since we ended up putting these at the back. It should fit well, because the bus is an Eagle Coach. Ha, Ha! Then we will do our lettering between the decals.

I will send more pictures as we get more done, also. If you want to write back to us use either the above e-mail ( it is my wife Kathie's ) or write to olvats@lycos.com.( my e-mail ). I think you allready have this information though. I must say that we are very impressed the way the decals added to the appearance of the bus, and we have had several comments about how good they look.

bye for now - John
